Your data, explained.

Omni is provided by Incredible AS (organization number 921 197 799), Platous gate 9B, 0190 Oslo, Norway. We are the controller for personal information processed to provide Omni. Omni is an independent Mac and iPhone app that connects to Codex on your Mac. This page explains how the beta and this website handle information. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@2001.ventures.

Conversations and AI processing

Omni stores bot settings and conversation history on your devices and synchronizes them between your paired iPhone and Mac. Omni’s schedules and run identifiers are stored on your Mac; scheduled runs add messages to the associated conversation. Codex on your Mac processes your requests and sends the information needed to answer them to OpenAI. Your OpenAI account settings and OpenAI’s privacy policy apply to that processing. Omni does not make AI inference happen entirely on your device.

Connecting your devices

When connecting remotely, Omni routes encrypted messages between your phone and Mac through a relay. Message payloads use authenticated encryption, with pairing credentials held on your devices. The relay stores a host identifier and a hash used to authenticate your Mac. It handles temporary requests and connection metadata, including IP addresses, to route traffic and prevent abuse. The relay does not store a persistent conversation transcript.

The Mac decrypts requests so Codex can act on them. Encryption between your devices does not change what is sent to your AI provider. You can revoke a phone’s access in the Mac app’s connection settings.

Instructions, skills, and memory

Omni reads supported native Codex settings on your Mac. Instructions, enabled skills, and memory can affect what Codex knows and does. Codex memory may be shared across chats on the same Mac. Files or external services you choose to use through Codex are also subject to those services’ policies and permissions.

Website and downloads

This website and downloadable Mac app are hosted by Vercel. Hosting providers process technical request data, such as IP addresses, user agents, and access times, to deliver and secure the service. We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to measure page visits and download clicks without analytics cookies or browser storage identifiers. Only known page paths and fixed button categories are sent; URL queries, fragments, and referrers are excluded. PostHog derives a short-lived visitor identifier on its servers from technical request information. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. If you disable analytics below, this website stores only that preference in your browser.

App usage analytics

The Mac and iPhone apps send anonymous usage events to PostHog in the EU. These tell us whether setup works, which features are used, and whether a reply arrives after a message is sent. Events include the platform, app version, an anonymous installation identifier, and fixed categories such as a reply duration range. We do not send chat content, bot names, instructions, memories, files, account details, pairing credentials, or raw error messages. We do not record screens, create person profiles, or join identities between your phone, Mac, and website visits.

You can turn this off with Share usage analytics in the Mac settings or under Your data in iPhone settings. Turning it off stops collection and discards queued events. Analytics has no role in whether your bots can run. We use these measurements to improve reliability and usability. Contact us for requests concerning data held by us or our processor.

Beta feedback and support

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, including your email address and message. We use it to answer you and improve the product. Apple may process TestFlight feedback and diagnostic information under Apple’s privacy policy and your settings.

Retention and your choices

Device data remains until you delete it or remove the app’s stored data. Archiving a conversation hides it; it is not deletion. Deleting data in Omni does not automatically delete records held by OpenAI or Apple. Contact those providers for their account-level controls.

We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request and maintain necessary business records. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, or to object to or restrict processing where applicable. We may need to verify your identity.

International processing and legal basis

Infrastructure, AI, and support providers may process data outside your country. Their applicable safeguards and policies govern these transfers. We process information to provide the service you request, maintain its security, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. Where consent is required, you can withdraw it.

If you are in the EEA, you may complain to your local data protection authority, including Datatilsynet in Norway. This page will be updated when the product’s data handling changes.
